a special Choir Pilgrimage to Spain! Sing for a scheduled
Mass at the Basilica of St. Miguel in Madrid. Walk in
the footsteps of some of our most beloved saints, St.
Theresa of Avila & St. John of the Cross. Visit
Toledo and Madrid, two cities that are rich in religious
art and architecture. The program concludes with a visit
to Fatima, where you will visit the site of the apparitions
of Our Lady. Sing for the International Mass at the Shrine
of Our Lady of Fatima.

10-Day Itinerary
Day 1 | Thursday | Depart for Spain
Day 2 | Friday | Arrive Madrid | Orientation tour of Madrid
Get a glimpse of Madrid’s most outstanding attractions: Puerta del Sol, the fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, Alcala Gate, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, Plaza de Oriente, and the historic Plaza Mayor.
Day 3 | Saturday | Prado Museum | Royal Palace | Vigil Mass at the Basilica of San Miguel
Tour of Prado Museum marked by works of El Greco, Velasquez, Murillo, and Goya. Collections include works by Italian and Flemish Masters. Visit the Royal Palace and Sabatini Gardens. Sing for the Vigil Mass at the Basilica of San Miguel, followed by a mini-concert.
Day 4 | Sunday | El Escorial and Toledo
Experience El Escorial, the world-renown monastery/palace built by King Phillip II. The “Valle de Los Caidos” is both a Basilica and memorial, honoring the fallen of Spain’s Civil War. See Toledo's monumental walls and medieval designs, surrounded by the charm of the Tagus River. Visit the Cathedral and Chapel of Santo Tomé, Toledo’s jewel.
Day 5 | Monday | Avila | Mass at the Cathedral in Avila
Enter the walls of the “City of Kings and Saints.” Avila is rich in mysticism and history. Your voices will reverberate at the Cathedral where the spirit of Saint Teresa and Saint John of the Cross is celebrated and remembered.
Day 6 | Tuesday | Avila | Excursion to Segovia
Drive along the scenic route of the Guadarrama Mountains. The Alcázar of Segovia will appear in romantic grandeur. Celebrate Mass at the Tomb of St. John of the Cross, in the Carmelite Convent Descalzos. Visit the Gothic Cathedral of Segovia at the Plaza Mayor.
Day 7 | Wednesday | Avila | Salamanca
Full day tour the city of Avila. This evening’s arrival to Salamanca takes in the beauty of the Plaza Major.
Day 8 | Thursday | Salamanca | Alba de Tormes | Fatima
The altar of Salamanca’s Cathedral will engage you with extraordinary depictions of the life of Christ. You will see the body of St. Teresa enshrined in the Carmelite Convent of Alba de Tormes. The day ends with participation in the evening Eucharistic Procession after arrival in Fatima.
Day 9 | Friday | Full day in Fatima
Tour the Shrine to Our Lady of Fatima. Sing for the scheduled Mass at the Basilica, followed by a mini-concert.
Day 10 | Saturday | Return from Lisbon
