In the Footsteps of St. John Henry Newman

9-Day Pilgrimage to England

Dear Friends in Christ,

We would like to invite you, your relatives, and friends to join us on a special pilgrimage to England in the footsteps of St. John Henry Newman! This journey will take us to the most famous sites and shrines of the United Kingdom, including sacred sites of our Catholic faith. We’ll begin in Cambridge, with its famed university, and Walsingham, which houses the Catholic National Shrine of Our Lady, referred to as “England’s Nazareth.”

We’ll visit Birmingham and its National Shrine of St. John Newman, as well as Maryvale, where the then Fr. Newman lived and set up the English Oratory of St. Philip Neri. Tour Stratford-upon-Avon, the town of Shakespeare, and Oxford to see Trinity College, where St. John Henry Newman studied. Of course, our journey wouldn’t be complete without a visit to London, seeing the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Brompton Oratory, Westminster Cathedral, Tyburn Convent and Shrine, and even more.

Best of all, we will be celebrating our faith, forming deeper bonds of friendship, and enjoying food and customs of another culture. There is nothing like sharing such experiences with friends and family in faith. Please consider joining us!
